It is very sad that this is the reality for many young people in the world, because not only in Spain, in Colombia also is sees this, and I would say that with more emphasis given the great social divide have, the lack of public spaces for sports, art and culture, where students can go to work in other areas other than a classroom with 40 or 50 friends, in Colombia we have an advantage that fortunately all we want and respect and is the SENA, with programs of articulation, training of technicians, etc.
While also training SENA, also presents desertion, especially in articulation with the media, and when learners are not a company sponsorship for their transport and livelihoods and to study in the Seine.
To improve also I would think that it would be appropriate to that exisitera a workday with sufficient compensation so that families could spend more time together, sharing and building project of life.
As to substantially improve the training of teachers in TIC´s and encourage them to implement them with the students, also the increase in coverage with lower cost of connectivity in the country, in rural and vulnerable areas.
In some other entries written by SENA teachers I have read, how powerty effects students' ability to participate in education provided by SENA. Although there is no tuition, it still may be impossible for some students to come to school, because they cannot afford e.g. transportation. That is why I read with interest your entry. Do you suggest that companies could sponsor the transportation? Does this already happen, or is it a new suggestion?

Some times the aprentices don´t have the economical resources from the companies, and they live far away from the SENA, then they leave the SENA and begin work, the companies pay 0.75 of the minimal salarial, and sometimes only for one or two aprentices each six moths.
EliminarClara, thanks for sharing. Is this your final reflections related to the collective mindmap ? I'm being slightly confused here and I would like to grade the education society and culture assignment tonight...David
